As I sit under the dryer for the second half of a 3 hour process I wonder...is there anybody out there who knows the trick to getting thick curly hair to dry any faster? I shampooed last night with some Honey all over wash from Lush! (www.lush.com) and then I conditioned with Shea Moisture's deep conditioning masque. I allowed the conditioner to stay in overnight partly b/c my hair could use it but mainly b/c I didn't feel like rinsing. So I did about 6 or 8 2 strands and let my hair do it's thing. This morning I rinsed the conditioner out in the shower...detangled and then returned my hair to about 15 bantu knots. I two-stranded as if I was doing a twist out and then twisted them into bantu knots with no pins or rubber bands. I sat under the dryer for about an hour and 30 minutes and now I'm back at it! Did I mention my hair was so soft after I rinsed the conditioner out?? Detangling was a breeze! Most hair with a natural curl pattern to it wants moisture more than anything! Moisture begins on the inside so remember to drink even more than the 8 glasses a day if you can. Ok, back to this dryer and my peppermint tea. Perhaps Ill post pictures when I take it down tomorrow!!
Peace & Blessings...and remember if you have a voice...Say it...Speak it!!
I am going to have to try the shea moisture... I have heard so many great things about it... Post some pics chica
